Hard to believe, but Sunday will mark the fourth anniversary of this blog. Here was my first post on Nov. 19, 2002.

If nothing else, an anniversary is an apt occasion to thank everyone who has read and linked to this blog over the years. It is also an appropriate moment to say how much I value the friends and acquaintances I have made through blogging. Blogs help to make this enormous world we live in smaller, and we are all the better for it.

Bob is a lawyer, veteran legal journalist, and award-winning blogger and podcaster. In 2011, he was named to the inaugural Fastcase 50, honoring “the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries and leaders.” Earlier in his career, he was editor-in-chief of several legal publications, including The National Law Journal, and editorial director of ALM’s Litigation Services Division.
