David Curle, a lawyer who is well known for his writing and analysis on legal technology, has joined the machine-learning contract-analysis company Kira Systems as legal content and research lead.

Since 2013, Curle has been director, enterprise content, technology and innovation, at Thomson Reuters Legal Executive Institute, where he has provided research and thought leadership around the changing legal services industry.

Curle announced the move on LinkedIn this morning, where he said that he will be helping Kira tell its story with research insights and other forms of content and analysis.

Bob is a lawyer, veteran legal journalist, and award-winning blogger and podcaster. In 2011, he was named to the inaugural Fastcase 50, honoring “the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries and leaders.” Earlier in his career, he was editor-in-chief of several legal publications, including The National Law Journal, and editorial director of ALM’s Litigation Services Division.
