Intapp, a major provider of cloud-based business applications for larger law firms and financial services firms, said today it has signed an agreement to acquire Repstor, creator of Microsoft 365-based enterprise content management and team collaboration tools.
Founded in 2012 and based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Repstor’s cloud-based solutions are designed to help law firms, accountancy practices, and in-house legal teams optimize Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams for content management, case management, matter lifecycle management, and collaboration.
Its tools enable legal teams to coordinate all matter management in a secure, ordered and traceable way from within Microsoft 365 and Teams, allowing firms to harness the investments they have already made in these platforms without the need for custom development.
“Adding Repstor capabilities to our OnePlace and DealCloud solutions will allow firms using our solutions to better collaborate and access content to boost productivity and improve outcomes across the deal-making and engagement lifecycle, from strategy through origination and execution,” said Mark Holman, chief strategy officer at Intapp.
Alan McMillen, CEO of Repstor, said in a statement: “Our two companies share a vision for a future where truly connected firms — including people, processes, and data — can drive better outcomes for their clients. Together, we want to be the partner for firms looking to empower their team members and gain a competitive advantage through technology.”
Last month, U.S. law firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP contracted with Repstor to support its transition to Microsoft Teams as its primary workspace for attorneys and paralegals.
