The legal technology company Litera has unveiled a new podcast series, Legaltech Matters, and I had the honor of hosting the first episode — an interview with CEO Avaneesh Marwaha on what’s driving Litera’s acquisition strategy and where it’s going.
The new biweekly podcast series is dedicated to creating conversations about technology, trends, and innovation for law firms and companies – big and small. Episodes will be hosted by well-known legal journalists, consultants and lawyers.
In addition to me, others who will host episodes are:
- Joe Borstein, cofounder and CEO of LexFusion.
- Caroline Hill, editor in chief, Legal IT Insider.
- Ari Kaplan, principal of Ari Kaplan Advisors.
- Adriana Linares, founder of Law Tech Partners.
In this episode, Marwaha discusses how, since 2016, Litera has embarked on a “buy, build, innovate” acquisition strategy, which has resulted in the company growing beyond its document drafting focus to become a significant player in transaction and litigation technology. This year, it entered the world of data to provide firms the information and insight they need to run successful businesses.
Hope you’ll listen.
