The sharper-eyed among you may have notice that Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. released product news on each of the last two Mondays — on April 11 announcing its partnership with Courtroom Insight to add profiles and reviews to the Almanac of the Federal Judiciary, and on April 18 announcing its relaunch of Manual IP, a key compliance source within Kluwer IP Law that explains IP procedures and laws in 238 jurisdictions.

Today it continues that streak with news of visualization and analytics enhancements to IPO Vital Signs, a database of IPO information that is part of RBsourceFilings, WK’s service for researching securities law issues and SEC filings.

The enhancements released today include interactive tables and graphics designed to support more intuitive visualization of IPO metrics, in addition to interactive graphics that will give users the ability to quickly visualize relationships in the data and drill down to subsegments of the market or activity by specific law firms.

As of today, these enhanced visualizations are available for three popular reports within IPO Vital Signs: IPO Issuer’s Law Firms Activity Detail, IPO Counsel Leadership Rankings, and IPO Market Capitalization Overview. Others are under development, WK said.

Also, in response to greater interest in and use of SPACs in IPOs, WK has also added a dedicated SPAC Vital Sign within the product, it said.

WK integrated IPO Vital Signs into RBsourceFilings in 2021 in order to provide attorneys with single-platform access to IPO deal analytics, regulatory insights, SEC filings and agreements. The product provides market share rankings of issuers counsel, underwriters counsel, and other IPO team members, as well as insights into fees, lockup agreements, and other critical deal terms. I

In addition to its new interactive and visualization capabilities, IPO Vital Signs is now integrated with the RBsourceFilings SEC research system, allowing users to easily navigate from IPO Vital Signs issuer profiles to a complete SEC filings history, and helping users stay up to date on all SEC regulatory and policy changes that impact the IPO process.
