A year after releasing Lexis+ AI, its generative AI legal research platform, to general availability, LexisNexis Legal & Professional today announced the release of a companion app for the U.S. market, the Lexis+ AI Mobile App, which is now available for download in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The app is intended to enable legal professionals to conduct work on Lexis+ AI from their mobile devices, anytime and anywhere. According to Lexis, it includes the following featues:

  • Ask a legal question. Ask legal questions in natural language.
  • Summarize a case. Summarize cases quickly, extracting key points and insights.
  • Generate a draft. Generating well-structured drafts of legal documents.
  • Recent conversations and drafts. Access and review existing drafts and previous interactions with the AI assistant.
  • Mobile-to-desktop sync. Sync activities between the mobile app and desktop version.

“Attorneys can now access the tools they need to serve their clients without delay through the Lexis+ AI Mobile App,” said Sean Fitzpatrick, CEO of LexisNexis North America, UK and Ireland. “This innovative app streamlines workflows, enabling legal professionals to deliver client value from anywhere, ensuring they can efficiently meet their clients’ needs without unnecessary delays.”
