OAKLAND, CA – Universal Migrator has announced that its data migration platform now integrates with SimpleLaw, a practice management solution for small- and mid-sized law firms. The new connector enables seamless migration of firm data into SimpleLaw’s platform, dramatically reducing the time required for law firms to make the transition.

The announcement marks another milestone in Universal Migrator’s rapid growth and commitment to simplifying complex data transitions in legal tech. Universal Migrator developed the connector in fewer than 30 days, during which Universal Migrator’s engineers mapped more than 130 different applications to SimpleLaw’s API architecture.

“What used to take weeks of manual data transfer can now be completed in a matter of hours, with minimal downtime for the firm,” said Tony Valenti, Universal Migrator’s CEO.

A notable feature of the new connector is its ability to migrate complete historical billing data, a capability that even many established practice management platforms do not officially support. This allows firms to maintain uninterrupted access to their financial history when switching to SimpleLaw.

The integration also enables SimpleLaw’s internal staff and external consultants to execute mass migrations efficiently, helping multiple firms transition simultaneously.

Universal Migrator continues to expand its capabilities within the legal tech market, where it offers a solution to the traditionally painful process of data migration. The company now supports over 200 data migrations monthly, transferring recent data and documents first so firms can begin working in their new system while older information is being processed.
